While the final version of the game will be free-to-play, it can already be pre-purchased on the Nintendo eShop. October 8 is turning out to be a pretty major day for games this year as Concrete Genie, The Alliance Alive HD Remastered, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Layer, Indivisible, Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, and now Asphalt 9: Legends are all coming out on that day. Today, Gameloft confirmed that the Nintendo Switch port of Asphalt 9: Legends will finally be launching on October 8. Asphalt 9: Legends released on Andoird, iOS, and PC last year, but it is also coming to Nintendo Switch as a free-to-play title. While the series did begin with a presence on Nintendo DS, it is heavily associated with iOS and Android nowadays. Just before E3, Gameloft revealed that it would be bringing the Asphalt racing game series to Nintendo Switch.
